Mary Lou is a constant surprise: a splendid studio apartment for a romantic stay and an ideal base for exploring Milan. Renovated and elegantly furnished, it has small rooms for the sleeping area, a small living room for relaxing and watching TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a work station and a comfortable bathroom. There is never a shortage of light and from the 7th floor you can enjoy a relaxing view of the tree-lined square. When you are ready to go out, you have many options for dining, culture and entertainment within easy reach.

THE SPACE:
Casa Mary Lou is part of the Case Ospitali network, a network of flats managed by hospitality professionals.
The flat is in a residential building, very quiet and bright, in one of Milan's most chic neighbourhoods. One can comfortably stay as a couple, even for periods of a few weeks. As soon as you enter, you enter the living room with open kitchen and relaxation area with a large TV and a couple of comfortable armchairs. There is also another pair of seats at the end of the bed. An open wardrobe with drawers offers plenty of space for clothes and sweaters. The balcony provides light and an excellent view of the tree-lined square. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, cooker hood, oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, toaster and everything included in the Case Ospitali welcome kit. In the storage cupboard there are cleaning tools and a hoover.
From the kitchen area there is access to the bathroom with window equipped with washbasin, WC with hand shower, shower cubicle and washer-dryer.
The flat is easily accessible by car or by metro (CADORNA stop, bus line 58 direction Baggio, 7 stops). Tram 14, which crosses the entire city, takes you directly to Piazza Duomo, to the Chinatown district and the Monumental Cemetery. A pay parking garage is on the same street, at no. 13.
The spaces in the Mary Lou house have been optimised for a pleasant stay without giving anything up. Free high-speed Wi-Fi and AC complete the offer.
Guests will have the entire studio at their disposal, which is located on the 7th floor in an excellent residential context.
PLEASE NOTE: guests are advised that air conditioning is only available from 1 June to 30 September.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
- BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL:
It is compulsory to complete the ONLINE REGISTRATION (online check-in).
Upon confirmation of your booking you will receive an email with a link to do this by entering the details of all guests.
For the main guest a photo of the document and a selfie with the document visible is required.
The signature of the TOURIST LETTING CONTRACT and the payment of the STAY TAX, if applicable, will be required.
Online check-in must be done at least 3 days prior to arrival, except for last minute bookings.
The personal data of our kind guests will be transmitted to the Police Headquarters as provided for by the LR n°27 of 1/10/2015 of the Lombardy Region and processed exclusively for the purposes inherent to the service and in compliance with privacy regulations.
- ACCESS TO THE FACILITY:
This facility is equipped with self check-in via the Vikey system: both the street door and the entrance door open digitally.
A charged mobile phone with an active data connection is required.
Access instructions, with explanatory video, are sent after completion of the online registration procedure.
Please note that check-in times are from 3PM to 11PM with staff telephone assistance is available until 9PM.
- CHECK-OUT:
Check-out is mandatory by 10AM.
- CLEANING:
A cleaning service or change of linen during the stay is not included. For all bookings longer than 15 days, an additional intermediate cleaning fee must be paid directly to Case Ospitali.
- NON-SMOKING FACILITY:
Smoking is prohibited inside the facility, both in the common areas and in the room. In case of violation a fine will be charged.
- WELCOME KIT:
We offer our guests a welcome kit with detergent tabs, coffee capsules, tea and sugar sachets, soap, shower gel and shampoo for your first day's stay.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DISTRICT:
I Navigli: centred on Milan's twin canals, this neighbourhood a short distance from Casa Mary Lou exudes historical charm. Yellow-hued buildings are surrounded by lush vegetation, while arched entrances lead to beautiful cobbled courtyards a world away from industrial Milan. There is a creative spirit in the Navigli: discover side streets overflowing with small galleries and artisans' boutiques. Dotted along the canals are restaurants ranging from traditional trattorias to cafés on the water. Nightlife is also big here, so the area attracts a younger crowd. That said, the Navigli mixes Italian traditions with the vibrant energy of a trendy neighbourhood. Better still, the metro and trams put you within easy reach of Milan's beloved attractions.
Via Tortona, the heart of Milanese design and the Solari area: two new Milanese cultural institutions have sprung up in the large former Ansaldo area.
The first is MUDEC, the Museum of Cultures opened in 2014, located in an iridescent-coloured hypermodern structure at the end of Via Tortona, which houses a permanent collection of artworks and artefacts spanning the ages and crossing the world's ethnicities, as well as a calendar of very popular exhibitions (the next on the agenda: 'Disney. The art of timeless storytelling' to be followed by 'Robots. The Human Project').

MOVING AROUND THE AREA:
Walk down Via Stendhal for about 600 metres to Via Solari and take tram 14 to the green Sant'Agostino metro station for Cadorna, Garibaldi or Centrale stations. Or continue with the tram to Piazza Duomo in 15 minutes, crossing beautiful streets in the centre of Milan.
